I estimate both the Canon HG10 and HV30 look great, especially in 24p mode. What is the difference between MiniDV and demo to hard drive surrounded by terms of trait? It would be much easier for me to get the (cheaper) HG10, history everything directly to hard drive, and bowdlerize directly from that. But, I’ve heard that MiniDV is the best format, but I can’t speak about much of a difference, personally.
